Annual Technical Seminar celebrates 20 years

ATC Williams recently held our 20th Annual Technical Seminar. The seminar is an internal event that brings together our engineering staff across Australia to disseminate and share technical knowledge. The event is complemented by intensive technical workshops.

This year’s seminar was held on 19th November and 10th December. The topics were wide-ranging with presentations on workplace safety and business, and technical topics including tailings, water, and waste management. COVID-19 challenges meant that our Melbourne staff had to attend and present remotely, but that didn’t stop anyone from presenting high quality content.

The seminar was initiated in the Melbourne office in 2000 by Keith Seddon, Chairman and Senior Principal (former Technical Manager), and has been hosted for the past two decades by the ATC Williams technical team. Behrooz Ghahreman-Nejad, Senior Principal and Chief Technical Officer has managed the event for the past six years.

Originally a one-day seminar, the event expanded across two-days as the company grew in size and is now broadcasted to five offices across Australia. The technical seminar is an important opportunity for ATC Williams to share knowledge between staff and ensures a high standard of service to our clients in Australia and overseas.

Thank you to the technical team for coordinating another outstanding seminar.
